Looks like I'll just be there for saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday again. Hopefully I'll skip out of work early Saturday and get down there in time to do some riding. Anyone have a plan for Sunday? Plan on riding much more, or just packing up and heading out? (I'm trying to decide whether to wear leathers or not.) Oh and Mark, do you have a route planned? If you do, lemme know how you guys will be heading back to the campground Saturday afternoon. That way if I arrive and you guys are still out, I can just backtrack your route untill I find you! It might work, but it's not a big deal if it doesn't. | ||

This year I am going to stay in the area. One loop I am going to do will be 16 south to Grantsville, Take 5 to Elizabeth, then pick up 53 to 47 and back to 16. I hope I can get a good camera so I can set in a turn or two for some good knee down stuff. The road that goes from the camp grounds to the lodge is great and pretty clean, I may try to do some pics there. | ||

Mike, I'm available to ride all day Sunday if you are looking for someone who knows their way around the area. I just re-installed my tail bag in preparation for this event. I prefer the look of no tail bag but I anticipate wanting my camera, Windex Wipes, a bottle of water, etc. for this big shindig. I also have a new tire setting at the local bike shop. If I don't need it between now and the rally, I'll surely need it after the rally. Only 9 more work days for me. Wolf, I'm trying to find a way to haul Pizza Place pizza. I spent 3 days riding this area about a month ago... For Saturday, I'm planning a full day of riding (450 miles or so). I'm doing a loop that goes through Snowshoe, Lewisburg, etc via some finest twisties around. Anyone interested? A quick group of 3 or 4 would be ideal. Gary - I really want to get to Buelltoberfest, but it will depend on if someone near me is heading down with a trailer. I'll have my 1125 by that time (fingers crossed) and I don't want to do all that highway riding on a bike that still needs breaking in. Plus I don't think I can get the time off work needed for another 2,000 mile road trip. I posted something about it in the Hudson Valley thread, but nobody is a for sure yet.
