Does anyone have any insight into the 1125R Jardine exhaust? I emailed the company twice and haven't received a response.

They said 6-8 weeks about 5 ago and they sent me a dyno sheet that didnt look to great.Im sticking with stock till the end of year.I would like to post the dyno results of the jardine but he sent it to me way to big and i cant shrink it .

If anyone is in ohio with a d&d I would love to hear it in person .

I also read a article that showed some of the riot exhaust werent big power makers on most jap bikes.

Thanks

Really looks like no noticeable change in power, which is good enough for me. No holes with better sound.

I hope the a/f ratio is still good.

Is this at the wheel or crank? What does this Jardine can look like on a 1125R? If the dyno sheet is from the wheel its a good result.

jack -

I would put all my money on this being at the wheel.

I would also put all my money on this being a "happy" dyno. Losing only 3-5hp from crank to wheel is not likely.

The important thing is to compare the stock to the new can, and this looks to perform about the same, which is all I've ever expected for this exhaust. it's good to see that we have that comparison.

Browse to http://www.jardineproducts.com and look up the 2008 Buell 1125R for an image.

I think it looks pretty good.

Does it alter ground clearance or lean angle? Because it pretty much has to be lighter, which is what I would see as the main advantage.

It's hard to tell how much it would impede on lean angle without rear or top views. It looks to tuck in a little better than the other systems out there, so we'll have to wait and see.

Wonder how much it will cost. Is it just the can or does it come with the pipe that runs up to the Y?

Whole system to the header.

I remember seeing a thread around here about the prices - I think they were:

Aluminum - $500
Carbon Fiber - $600
Titanium - $600

I like it. As soon as its buyable im getting one. Right now my back rim is black from the corrosive exhaust gases. I scrubbed for an hour and its still black. The underside of the swing arm looks like it was painted flat black. I love everything about my bike but the exhaust so its got to go.

Jardine just emailed:

"The aluminum ones are due in at the end of this month, they are$500.00. The carbon ones are due in the middle of September, they are$600.00. The titanium ones are not released yet and production has not started."

Has anyone got a hold of Jardine for a sound clip? Top down picture? I am curious about the lean angle as well.

From the website pics it looks to tuck in under the passenger pegs.

It does also look to still exit onto the swingarm and rear rotor.

Would the $500 include the mid pipe to the header too, or just the slip on?

I emailed but no response so far

I just got an email back from Ashley @ Jardine. They say there's no loss of lean angle or ground clearance. The price is everything you need from the header back. Ashley also mentioned that it makes the bike run lean and that Al at American Sport Bike should be able to help with that.

I think unless you can buy a Race ECU from buell, your best bet would be the Powerizer from Trojan.

I am sure Ashley was confused with the custom maps Al offers for pre-08 bikes. I know I talked to him at our last SCAB meeting 2 weeks ago and he did not have anything to program '08 ECM's and definitely not an 1125R's.

Maybe he will pipe in.

I'm waiting to see how the powerizer works on the 25r also.
