So I just noticed that my bike says 21,789 miles on the odo. This is not the case though, it has somewhere around 27,000. Anyone else ever see anything like this? That kind of worries me. |

have you checked the fluid in the flux capacitor? |

You sure it was 27k? Perhaps there was a piece of dirt on the cluster making the line at the top of a 1? |

You probably briefly exceeded the speed of light on a fast downhill run causing the odometer to run backwards... |

ha! Maybe I did exceed the speed of light... But, yeah, I am certain of my mileage, as I do all my maintenance myself and record my mileage. |

Nope....it's for sure the canooter valve...but you have to ride on the ceiling for them to fail....I just don't get it! Seriously though, if your bike did this I haven't heard of such a thing. |

It is not a big deal, your bike just pulled a Ferris Bueller stunt. |

Just a thought: the top "element" of the LCD display (or whatever it is) for that character died, or is not showing? If you end up w/an incomplete 8 at 28,000mi, you'll know..... |

Are you sure you're on the proper ODO reading, and not on one of the other trip readings. |

Are you sure you're on the proper ODO reading, and not on one of the other trip readings. Oooh, good suggestion! |

The trip meters won't exceed 999.9. At least that's true on my bike anyway. |

Yeah. Maybe it's the LED malfunctioning. And I do know the difference between the ODO and the trip meters, as I use one for tracking my gas mileage and the other for weekend trips. |

That's what I was thinking. But then again, it's a badge of honor. Shit's just weird. |
