Please provide the correct information so I won't be wrong in the future. After much research, I've come to trust my sources- but that doesn't mean they can't be wrong. My rule is three independent verifications before I consider something fact.

I think I'll introduce the first vanilla syrup for ice cream- sounds like a winner!

"The XB is an iconic motorcycle design, and will always be remembered as such"

The XB12R is in the HD Museum, as is its history in development. The 1125r is non-existant in the museum. So yes, to some folks it will be remembered as an iconic part of Harley and bike history.

The 1125's are the next step for Buell to stay competitive, the Xb's helped with that evolution, all whilst evolving itself.

"The 1125R frames (as with all new Buell frames) are manufactured in the US."

Not totally correct, last time I checked the 1125 frame was made in Illinios, I asked the owner of the company if he had plans of making all Buell XB and 1125 frames...his quote..."I wish I was that lucky", so no the XB frames aren't made in the US.

If this has changed in the last 6 months, I'd like to know as well.

Redbuell, there's a thread in the "quick board" about the 1125 frame, I'd read that and look at the images, you'll see the differences in the two frames.

What? Are you retarded? It's new. Why the hell would it already be in a damn museum?

Keep in mind the XB is going on 6+ years now... Lots of time & development. 1125 platform is how old again?

Puff'n -- you're going so down!

What about Vanilla Extract? Vanilla is such a righteous treat that they even make FAKE Vanilla extract! Man, you can't go the to store and buy IMITATION chocolate syrup.

Anyway, if one was to put vanilla extract on chocolate ice cream it would cause a ginormous explosion as well all know that you can't mix matter with anti-matter!

Sheesh, it's like you never opened up a flux-capaciter!

That's right - vanilla so rocks... so does the XB, but that's a different story.

What were we talking about?

Admittedly, I know absolutely nothing about the H-D Museum, but I would think the 1125R will never be in it due to the Rotax powerplant.

Are we talking about ice-cream ? I thought I was on the "women on bikes" thread. Either way...chocolate rules but I really like coffee and vanila too.

that's because one would likely be beaten vigorously about the head and shoulders for selling it.

i've never laid eyes on "Death by Vanilla" on the desert menu.

and while Hershey, PA. is self-explanitory, i'm not aware of any location known as Vanilla Town.

how about the term chocoholic...vanilliaholic?? i don't think so.

maybe if you hadn't been so spot on w/ the rest of your post, i wouldn't have jumped on the vanilla thing so hard. i think vanilla is just fine, but BETTER???? never

Damn, done in by choco-logic...

But I do have to admit defeat when I go to the cereal isle cause while there's plenty of Count Chocolate, I just can't seem to find Vanilla Vampire...

Damm you Choco-Puff Man, damn you.

The Vengance of Vanilla will rise from the ashes and take you down, all of you, bwahahaha

This thread is another that has kept me awake on night shift! Thank You BadWeb!

On the Vanilla vs. Chocolate:

-Vanillatown is actually located in Wyoming.

-Imitation Chocalate Syrup and Fake Chocolate Chips are sold locally (the warden always buys that sugar-free shit!)

On the 1125R vs. XB12R

-The XB 'iconic' . . . I believe so, but I own one.

-The 1125's . . . only the future can tell.

at first I couldn't see the passion for the 1125r. But after one ride and constantly walking past one every morning leaving work it has really grown on me. It might even be the calling of this company. The bike (in my mind) has picked up where the RC51 and TL1000R left off. Damn it feels lighter then my SP2.

Disclaimer: This is only my opinions and should be taken as such. I open to any disagreements or competitive banter.

i'm koo-koo for co-co puff

sugar-free chocolate?? you poor bastard...if we ever meet out on the road, (maybe on the way to Vanillatown, i can't find it) i'm gonna buy you enough of the real thing to make an 8-yr-old puke...because life's too short to eat cheap chocolate!!

my wife makes these brownies out of cake mix, pudding, and choc.chips.....if you had an allergy, this recipe would kill you!

as for "iconic" motorcycles....my 1st bike was a '69 CB750-KO, and i also held onto my '80 Wes Cooley replica Suzuki 1000s...and i just bought an XB, with no plans of letting it go.

MrShim?..before I call you RETARDED, My question is this..Have you been to the Museum? Have you seen the displays?

How old is the Rocker Mr2Shim? Launched the same year (08) as the 1125r and its sitting right beside the XB12R, which sits next to the V-Rod...all three are displayed with their history of development and the different technologies used create them...So yes, they could have had the 1125r Mr2Shim.

The HD museum isn't all about history Mr2Shim, its about HD's future as well. So when the little yellow bus comes to pick you up, tell the driver you want to see the new Harley Museum.

Vanillatown is a wonderful place . . . just west of the Nebraska border. You know you're almost there when the landscape looks as if it was dipped in vanilla almond bark!

HR puffinstuff - those must be great Brownies! I haven't eaten a Brownie since . . . back when I was just a lil' Cub Scout!

I had forgotten to share this . . . about a month ago. Since we are on 'Iconic' bikes. On craigslist in Omaha, some guy transfered from California was selling an old bike. He had a 'completely original' Kenny Roberts 1984 RZ350 . . . for only 3,000 dollars. It only had 9000 miles and was in every conceivable sense 'completely stock.' (down to the f'ing grips!) Before I got a chance to look at it . . . a Unit Leader from work grabbed it. Yes I told him about it and still regret it. The seller didn't know what he had or the fact of finding one that hadn't been molested for track use. Damn I'm Jealous.
