If you slide the forks up, you may get 1/4"-1/2". The stock bars are awfully close to the fork tops. | ||

that tire isnt going to be a reason for head shake unless its junk. i have run plenty of that size on my xb's with no problem what so ever. have you set the suspension right? i wouldnt try to lower it by sliding the forks but thats me. plus thats just going to give you a steeper steering angle | ||

You will have to drop the forks and pull out the stopper rings to lower the front end.... But like tim said, It prolly aint the rear tire. | ||

Are you loose on the bars or do you hold on tight?? If you are holding on tight and grabbing more gas with the new rear meat you may find increased head shake. You might also check your steering head bearings. Just a thought based on me having NO knowledge of your riding exp/style. | ||

well im not and pro racer, but my back ground is drag racing. i love wheelies and hard sweepers . and i will throw in stand ups well i just ride this bike . i bought this bike 4 months ago new i have 6k on it now and on my 3rd rear tire 2nd front | ||

If you love wheelies take a good look at the steering head bearing. | ||

The owners manuals are online at buell.com If you are talking about the service manual, spend the $50 and get it from your favorite dealer. It is worth every penny and you will be using it in the future for other things like oil changes and adjustments. |
