I wanted to brag about my Buell Dealer, Route 66 HD Buell in Tulsa. I had it in for some service work and they followed the torque specs when tightening the clutch cable to the engine. Well, the engine cover cracked. They called and apologized, the service was going to take longer since they had to replace the cover. Even though it was not their fault, Buell covered the part and Route 66 took care of the labor. |

They just did what they are supposed to do. It seems in this day and age we are so surprised and feel lucky to have professionals just do their job right assume responsibility! I would be pissed to have to leave my bike at the shop longer during our somewhat short riding season! In my mind a good tech should know better than to over-torque regardless of what the manual says. Rant over, Roy, hope you get your bike back soon! |

Supertoon, I was not surprised, nor was I feeling lucky. With all the negativity that has been on this board lately I thought a little positive feedback would be welcomed. How is a tech supposed to know when the manuel is wrong? Sheesh. |
