Here we go with the 11th Speedweek.

From now on as an 8h race to the Endurance world championship. (Former 24h)

The Teams from Buell Hannover and Buell Bonn at the start with their Buell 1125R´s.

Das Team Holzhauer Racing Promotion um den derzeit führenden Fahrer der IDM SUPERBIKE Martin Bauer, meldete seinen dritten Fahrer für die 8 Stunden Endurance Weltmeisterschaft im Rahmen der 11. German Speedweek in der Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.

Die leere Stelle in der Fahrermeldung, die zuvor nur Anlass zu Spekulationen gab, wurde mit dem Namen gefüllt, den manche erwartet und wohl alle sich erhofft hatten: Michael Schumacher.

Damit ist der siebenfache Formel-1 Weltmeister bereits zum dritten Mal innerhalb eines halben Jahres bei einer offiziellen Motorrad-Veranstaltung in der Motorsport Arena am Start.

Anfang Mai fuhr er hier seine erste Lizenzveranstaltung auf deutschem Boden im Rahmen der ADAC 1000 Berge Trophy. Auch seinen ersten von mittlerweile einigen Gastauftritten in der Königsklasse der Internationalen Deutschen Motorradmeisterschaft, der IDM SUPERBIKE, hatte er von 17. bis 18. Mai auf der Strecke in der Magdeburger Börde.

Both Teams tryed hard and the bikes were performing well. But technical problems took to much pittime. Finished 41. and 43. overall. Dont know yet were they end in the openclass, were they signed in and what exact the problems was.

Factory Teams BMW finished 12. + 13. and KTM 20. + 22.

A Ducati 1098 finished 26.
