First- I don't care how you live your life. I was responding to your own post in which you quoted me, and then said: " You're the only person that I know of that knows everything about everything" if you need a "program" to teach you portion control, then your problem is deeper than you realize. |

Simmer down you's guys. I started this back in January and wasn't able to keep up. However, last Friday, my boss held a meeting and we're expanding. A lot. She has to speak at the National Auto Dealers Association meeting in September and is starting a program with us employees. She regularly buys lunch, ice cream, etc and it's really packed on the pounds for most of us. I've gained 10 pounds in two months with nothing changed other than this new job and the additional food. She started a Biggest Loser for the office, with a twist. Everyone sets a weightloss goal for the end of August. If you reach that weightloss goal, you get a $500.00 bonus. Smoker's submit to a nicotine test and if they are clean, get $500 as well, but it can't be both. So there are really only 4 people in the office not participating. There's a nice loop to walk at lunch. My Kryptonite is going to be fast food with my work schedule. My official weigh in today is 324.50, with my khaki's, wool socks, t-shirt, dress shirt, undies and no riding boots. |

if you need a "program" to teach you portion control, then your problem is deeper than you realize. Wrong again. I do realize what the issue was, which is why I addressed and continue to address. It took me many years to fall into the poor eating and lack of activity that had me over 300 lbs. You (correction, I) can't just roll out of bed and decide that I'm gonna do something 180 degrees different from what I've been doing for years. I need the structure that NS provides to instill a new life style. Similar to smoking, some people can quit cold turkey, others need some type of assistance. Criticize me, put me down all you like, but when it's all said and done, I have addressed my issues on this matter the way that works for me. I don't need yours or any one else's approval or support. I'm doing this for me, myself and I only. My hope for you Tramp is that someday you'll find the strength to address your issues, and can learn to be happy some day. Good luck to you, no further discussion on this matter will come from me. |

Ben the weight loss you have accomplished is impressive keep at it! I just have to convince my lazy arse to get up in the AM and pound on that bicycle for an hour. |

Hi Mark, Sorry I didn't get to go, but really a 4 1/2 lb weight gain! Must have been a great trip......again. I once again weighed in at 232. |

Damnit, it looks like 257 is the number for the day. And today is the first day of the NS plan, packed the full lunchbox of meals for the day, I feel like a kid going to school with a full back pack |

I would like to be back at my college wt at 165 when I competed. I know the 119 of Highschool is impossible without surgery. ie removing a leg! The mantra is washboards for 40! |
