Has anyone consider this as an alternative scoop option on the Uly? Pirnie |

Couldn't find a pic of a real one but it reminds me of the old home made comaro scoops.

Speaking of the STT, was there any official word as to why they dropped it from production this year? |

The STT was a solution in search of a problem. |

According to MCN the a$$ has dropped out of Super Moto. (and really the TT was way to fat to even be a moto the way it was billed) Its a great bike, just the wrong ad copy. Numbers didnt match the sales of the SS and there was quite a bit of cross over between the two in parts. And if you ask dealers, they started to sell when they put the passenget pegs, body kit and bigger seat from the SS on it. |

Wish there was a way to find sales numbers. I can't believe they sold too many of them if they decided to yank it. I have never seen one but have seen most other Buells on the streets around here. |

Well, I figured someone would post up something like this, and say their Ulysses WAS water cooled. I've tried it on my bike, and ended up with the Ulysses laying IN the water on its side...so I guess I have water cooled mine before. LOL! |

With those radiator pods, the left side could be the air scoop and the Right side could function as the oil cooler. |

Instead of "You got a headlight out!", we will get "Hey your fairing is on backwards!" |

Ultimately, the 1125 platform killed the STT. That entire like appears to be slimming out of existence. |

I'll chant "Rotax" when I don't have to pay a mileage or maintenance penalty. Til then, XB be good. Side note- saw my first 1125r at Cal H-D today. Was impressed at overall smaller feel while seated, but would never get used to riding position. Uly has spoiled me. Side-side note to SoCal Badwebbers- Buell Demo Tour at Cal H-D this weekend. |
