looking for a zero gravity double bubble windshield for my xb9r...black preferred... used or new..or even just a good cheap website to buy from maybe.. |

They WILL melt your gauge pod. go with the memphis shades (wich i happen to have one for sale) or the powerbronze. if u MUST have zero gravity get the ST model the dbl bbl WILL melt your gauge cluster and they WILL NOT replace it |

Note: The dash melting thing is easily avoided. Don't park tail-to-the-sun. Head-on or sideways or pretty much anything but tail to the sun is just fine. I've had the double bubble (and love it) on my Firebolt for four years now. |

even if i get the dark smoke it will melt??? what color is your memphis shades screen? is it the same shape as the stock screen? |

Mine is the dark smoke. It is not sunlight going THROUGH the screen that is the problem - it's light REFLECTED by the screen. ...I've got the melted trough in my cluster to prove it - the one day I parked tail-to-the-sun. Until I got the Uly and started riding it, I rode the Firebolt to work every day and parked it out on the blacktop, pointing south (since it sits there from morning to afternoon, I just put it perpendicular to the sun's travel), with no problems. |

ok yeah im willing to take the risk on the double bubble...cheapest ive been able to find it though is $79 on kneedraggers... |
