Hey all. I've been lurking in the background for quite a while now and finally decided to join! You guys have way too much insight to pass up on! I've been looking at the Remus Powerizer on Trojan's website for a while now. (By the way, thanks for the Saron exhaust Trojan! It kicks some serious butt!) http://www.trojan-horse.co.uk/prods/283.html What is your general take on this product? Do you think it could aid in solving some of the fueling issues we've been experiencing? I'm just trying to decide if it would be a good investment or not. I need your expertise! Any and all feedback welcome. Thanks in advance and I'm glad to be on board with the forum. P.S. - I've had my 1125 since January and love it. Although I do miss my xb9r every once in a while... | ||

The 1125R unit is brand new, so although we have no feedback on this particular fitment, although we have plenty for the other models that Remus cover. All of the feedback we have had on the Powerizer, for all makes of bike, has been positive. We sell them for Buell, KTM, Kawasaki and lots of other bikes too, and it really is a plug & play unit that is one of Remus's best kept secrets! For reasons known only to themselves, Remus have been slow in promoting this unit outside of the UK, so it can sometimes be hard to find information on it. However we have now sold close to a hundred of these with lots of satisfied users around the world who can give feedback. As with the XB unit, if you are looking to tune the nuts off your bike then it may be better to look for a unit with some kind of manual adjustability or programming available, but for 99% of users the Powerizer is good enough to smooth out dips and glitches in the power delivery caused by poor fuelling. The biggest benefit though is that there is no costly dyno or setup time with this unit. Simply plug it in and go, and it will adjust itself to suit the bike and give optimum fuelling. | ||

Im new to this i just took my bike to track to run 1/4 mile will the powerizer help get a few more horses out of her | ||

the optimizer on my XB leaned out the fuel mix, not enough that i'd consider it to be in the danger area, but definitely more than i'd like. not much of an optimization. not sure i want to try it on the 1125. |
