I wonder if the handlebars from the 1125cr will fit on my XB......... Once part pricing is available I would be very interested. My bars are slightly bent and I am looking to replace them. |

That sure would have saved me a lot of time and money on the 04 I sold last spring...... I think the changes are great, and I'm happy to see that Buell seems to really be listening to what their customers are asking for.

anybody else notice a couple typos on the website calling the 12Scg and 9SX lightnings, "firebolts" in the features section. i seem to remember somewhere on here that we can post those typos to let buell know about them (Message edited by volk on July 23, 2008) |

"New Drive Belt All 2009 Buell XB models will be fitted with a new, more durable Veyance Hibrex drive belt with Flexten Plus technology, the same belt technology that was originally developed for the Buell 1125R. Will this supersede the 'old' belt, like the 06 did to the 04-05 belt or is it a full new system like the 04 was to the 03?" It's the same belt. Veyance purchased the 'General Products' division of Goodyear (belts, hoses, conveyor belts, etc) in 2007. Flexten is Goodyear's name for the material Kevlar (that name is licensed to Dupont). |
