I was at the HD/Buell dealer today, and someone was buying an 07 xb9r. Anywho, I've never heard another Buell run except for mine. I was quite stunned by the way it sounded compared to mine. I've always thought my exhaust was stock as a rock. Until now.....

Must be striped out. Someone at homecoming on a white/blue 12r had a stock pipe but it sounded tough.

By the sound I would say a force pipe, but from the look it could be a loud drummer.

Or I could be wrong, and is turned out to be the acoustics of that tool shed.

Sounds WAY louder than mine was when stock..is muffler the stock outer housing? maybe it's just been gutted...

It's the stock housing. That's why I thought it was stock. The PO didn't tell me anything about having the muffler gutted. He was the original owner.
