Hey all. I have an '05 XB12Scg and I noticed that my swingarm is the '04 style, not the '05 per the pictures in the 25th anniversary edition of Fuell. Did all '05s have the "new" style swingarm? There is a chance there was some funny business going on with my bike, it was not new off the showroom floor, but came from a wholesaler with 59 miles on it, from another state, possible repo... (that is a whole 'nother story.) Anyway, anyone have a similar situation? |

I think that article in fuell is wrong. I could have sworn it started in 06. I don't think any 05's had the new swingarm. It also said XB9's were being built in 01? Anyone have one that has a manufacture date way back then? (Message edited by mr2shim on July 14, 2008) |

Yeah the '05s have the same swinger as the '04s. I don't think there were any XB's produced in '01. The XB9 was sold as early as '02 but only as an '03MY motorcycle. |
