I got the ECM spy software and cable built. I went out and down loaded my maps out of my 05xb12scg. I am sure it has a Race ECM, However I assume its an 05 Race ECM. Since it only says for race use only. Any ideas why my fuel maps appear to be all goofed up as viewed via ECM Spy? My rpms and tps numbers are really weird and all mixed up, out of order. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas why? After reading al kinds of posts about fuel maps and being slightly confused. I gathered that the numbers that were bigger meant more duration of fuel injector pulse width (time). If that is true. The rear cylinder should have slightly larger numbers than the front to compensate for heat/lean conditions right??? Why is mine opposite? Would this explain my rear plug at my last plug change being darker and my front being whiter possibly? Now that I think of it could the 2 cylinders of gotten switched around somehow(by electrical connection), when I had the motor torn down for a base gasket rebuild? Is that mistake possible to make? Please help me out here. Thanks (Message edited by blake on December 27, 2007) |

It looks like you need to download the newest model file at. http://www.ecmspy.de/download/ecmspymod.ini Or you have the wrong ecm selected. If you have the race ecm it is probably the XB12 04 GB231 select that at start-up then down load your map again. Do these things and it should make your TPS in order on the left side and your RPM in order across the top. I have also noticed the rear fuel table on the race ecm have lower values, don't know why. got the same problem with my 231 ecm (2004 race ecm) . RPM columns starts with 5 times 8824 and then with correct values . same on TPS columns. for this to make mods on TIMING and FUEL maps i'm still using a "rapid bike" . anyway it WORKS WELL as interface TPS reset , scan tool , AFV handling...and many others. i love it. bye Alessio |

I'm having trouble installing MegaLog Viewer on my Vista equipped laptop. Anybody got any experience with Vista?? I try it in administrators mode but still get a message saying "Administrator has set precautions for this installation." or something like that. Can anybody tell me how to get this installed? |

I'm running it on a Vista LT as well and never got that message. Can you give us the actual message? Are you an administrator of the machine? Have you tried the install in safe mode? What do you mean by "Administrator Mode"? Do you mean that you run the installer "as Administrator"? |

Don, I log in using the Administrator Account instead of the Standard User Account or Guest Account. I assume this account will allow me to install and set up any new program with complete authority. My procedure: download MegaLogvViewer-setup v2.94 to my desktop., click on the icon to open the MegaLogViewer Setup Wizard. Run through all the installation screens. I get "MegaLogViwer is being installed ....", after a minute the Windows Installer error message pops up saying "The System Administrator has set policies to prevent this installation." Then that's as far as it goes. I'll try safe mode to see what happens. Any other suggestions?? |

All the widows updates done? Which OS? XP, 2000, 98? Have you tried re-downloading the file? Maybe it ended up corrupt? Try googling the error text. It's unlikely you'll find a solution to MLV but the solutions you do find are likely to help. Can you install anything else? |
