All right! I've got the DVD for the original (movie was made in my birthyear) and it's still a great movie. I hope the remake is even better.

Never got a chance to see it in the theater (it only played at one in Manhattan) but I got the DVD the INSTANT it came out. Probably Bruce's finest performance. Surprisingly understated compared to his usual hammy style.

I always found it interesting that Patricia Neal was the female lead in TDTESS. She's a pretty classy actress. Always liked her stuff.

Anyone remember that 'Klatuu' rumor from the late 70's... the one shot wonder band (google them) that was supposed to be the reformed Beatles?
