I am looking for a good website with lots of tech info on exactly how motorcycle suspensions work. It would be nice if there was info on compromises with setup changes as well. Thanks in advance. BTW, If you are looking for a place for tech on car suspensions, check corner-carvers.com. |

http://www.roadracinghelp.com/LessonBook/School.htm (see chapter 2, and if you find the information useful, please let Marcus know. He's a fellow CMRA racer and of high caliber. He's one of the gems of the Texas motorcycle road racing scene. http://www.gostar-racing.com/information/motorcycle_suspension_set-up.htm www.traxxion.com www.racetech.com |

Donald; a good start is Traxxion's Suspension Tuning for Mortals. I haven't seen it myself, but saw a very favorable review by an SV racer on the SV list. A http://www.google.com search reveals lots of pages with suspension info; including the Sportrider pages. This page has 10 -15 links to suspension tuning info - scroll down past the middle in the left column. This ought to get you going. Henrik |

Cool, just read through a little bit of Chapter two (read chapter one as well just because I'm like that) and I think this may be exactly what I'm looking for. If the other links are half as good as the first I should have all I need for now. Thanks again. |

Well, Chapter two was great, the others were useful to let me know that what I learned in racing simulators is still applicable to motorcycles... |
