Just had the 1000 mile service completed on my 2008 Ulysses Friday, as I went to push the bike out of the garage Saturday morning it would not roll in 1st gear with the clutch in, but after it's warmed up it can be pushed in 1st. Sunday I was able to push it cold but it was very difficult. I did not have this issue before the service, so my first thought it's due to the Syn 3 they used instead of the stuff that came in it from the factory, but I don't see how a different fluid would make a difference when the bike is not running. They also did not list anything on the invoice about adjusting the clutch. I can't call the dealer until tomorrow so I thought I'd ask here while I wait. How’s your Uly roll in 1st (with the clutch lever in)? TIA Mug |

New oil is thicker oil. Protecting your clutch and so works somewhat like an auto trans by creating resistance between the plates when cold. |
