Well, got my racekit off and stock parts back on the bike yesterday. First off, holy freakin midrange! The bike feels more powerful up to about 4k RPMs. It doesnt have that top-end pull that the racekit gave it, but man the powerband is much smoother. Alot of the vibrations have gone away as well. My hands dont want to go numb after 5 miles of riding, and I can make stuff out in my rearview mirrors.

It still has a slight stumble to it when at 2%ish throttle, but not nearly as bad as it was with the racekit. Im betting the TPS reset will fix that up completely. I also love the sound of stock. Nice and stealthy when cruising, but a nice deep tone when I open her up and that valve opens.

I must say though, that muffler was a PAIN to mount. Had to have my G/F out there wiggling the muffler around as I pushed it up on the header. After a good 30 minutes of struggling we got it on all the way. Not something I would want to do again : )

It's easier to mount if you have a 2" piece of round stock to open up the inlet of the pipe before mounting.
