I took a wee ride to the AMA Hall of Fame (outside Columbus, Oh) this past weekend .... and the current exhibit features bikes of celebrities and as I tooled about checking out bikes from T2 and I, Robot .... I came across...... The XTs weren't out when this bike was done. I believe the Queensryche bikes were done last spring or summer. There was one also done in red. | ||

Yeah, that's an 07. Small oil cooler, early muffler tip. Very cool though. Wonder if they have any leftover flyscreens? I could put that and a translucid airbox lid on my faster orange 06 Uly...but would translucid make it *too* fast? lol. | ||

Hey it has the 08 heat deflectors. Given a choice, I'd take Treadmarks' bike over that in a heartbeat. Cool bike just not my taste though. | ||

That's one of the bike that the members of Queensryche rode around the US during their last tour. The bikes were then auctioned off by VH1 for some charity. If I remember correctly one of the members here did the paint work for both of the bikes. It was a shame to see both bikes go at auction so cheaply, around $8K for the orange and $7K for the red one. | ||

Treadmarks cost me money everytime I see his bike, his unilateral escalation of farkles takes design and practicality to the next level. The bajas are on the way. I want to get that death ray on my bike before the big long road trip And yes, Valencia is the faster sexier ORANGE . Pic on profile cuz it never loads from home. |
