Anyone living in Ohio, who do you go with for your insurance? I'm getting quotes all across the board. I'm going to need full coverage. |

Don't know about full coverage insurance. I have liability only, and it's through the same company as my auto and homeowners insurance. I only pay $22 a month for the bike insurance through American Family Insurance. |

I have very close to full coverage with Progressive through my insurance agent, who also insures the house and cars (MetLife). I pay $348 annually ($29 per month) for what I feel very good coverage. I can't remember the details right now. Some insurance companies will give you a discount if you take a recognized motorcycle training course. Hope this helps some. |

It isn't Ohio, but in NY which can't be cheaper...I just wrote with Progressive for $305 for full coverage$100,000/300,000/100,000, $10,000 medical and $500 ded. and this also included roadside assistance. I will probably be switching the house, cars and sled to this agent as well. |

Wow, the prices really do vary. I used to have Progressive here in FL on one bike, a HD FXDX, with no tickets or accidents and was paying over $500/year. I then switched to Allstate at about half the rate. I wonder why it varies so much. |

I checked around and Geico was the cheapest I could find with decent coverage. Allstate now has a drive going to try and get new customers in the bike market. They are who I have with my cars and house and who I did have with my bikes, but they were ridiculous for what they wanted for the Buell so I switched. Don't know how Geico can be so much more reasonable in their rates for bikes. I am 56 and good driving history. |
