I searched it and still am unclear of the process, can some give me a good link? I am assuming that i pull out the mounting block swingarm assembly and put the isolators in the frame provisions and the slide the mounting block swingarm assembly in between the installed isolators? Is there only supposed to be locating pins on the right side of the frame? THANKS BLAKE |

Those little roll-pins should be on both sides. Also, you have to make sure that they aren't too long to allow the backing plate to seat perfectly. it's really simple to do on an X1...(took me 8 hours to do, will take 1:45 next time). Be patient, there's always a trick. Think of it as a puzzle. Remember: SOMEONE in Troy put the damn thing together in the first place, right? |

"i got it put in place and just remembered the belt needs to be in there. ahhhhhhhhhhh" I've done it. Everyone does it. You're not an idiot, yet. You're just forgetful. If you leave the belt out and can't figure out why it won't go, THEN you're an idiot. |

Blake, that's too bad, when I did mine I had help from another fellow from here (Thanks again Dbird) so while I would have forgotten, he was there to save my tail. Have you got pics of your bike on here anywhere? Sounds like what I've pictured doing with mine, still trying to decide on the headlight though... |
