My personal choice was the stock plugs. I have tried the iridium and the Buell performance plugs and ended back on the stockers. The Buell performance plugs caused pining issues in stop and go traffic when it was hot in the afternoons. |

Thanks for the feedback, I was just making sure that with this age of magic silver, gold, platinum, titanium, iridium, plutonium spark plugs that there might be a better option than stock. Thanks again! |

Go with stock HD plugs- They burn a nice chocolate brown, are cheap and won't back out on you. Evidently, there is some sort of subtle taper that resists coming loose also. I have ran the NGK Iridium because I am a HUGE NGK Plug Fan I even run them in ALL my cars/trucks since my days in service with one of the largest SoCal Honda Suzuki Triumph dealers of the day. (we use to literally throw ND's & Champions in the trash on brand new bikes.) But there is some debate as to the proper heat range to go with(I keep a spare set of NGK DCPR8EIX but they Run a bit white -Hot). I am new to this forum but I have been checking periodically over the past couple of years. Thought about joining PBR but always have time constraints it seems. Ken in Vancouver '06 XB12Ss |

All the information I have found on this site says to run NGK DCPR9EIX. I recently ordered these for my '07 Uly, hope they are okay. |

The 2008 requires a different plug than the previous years which I can't find any cross reference for. Along with the non-compatibility of ECM Spy for the 2008's. |
