}Really? I used to hang out in Denny's when I was younger, around 96-00. Pumpernickle is gone, plowed under a few years back to build a Kohls. Foodmart is gone also, built a best buy in it's place. Hit me up when you're back and we can get some drinks and shoot the shit. Yep, thats about the time frame, excpept I went into the navy in early 99...Sounds like a plan overall.. Also, I saw you're looking for a job, not sure what your pay requirements are but we're hiring for turbine mechanics at work. If you've got some solid mechanical experience they don't mind hiring people with no power turbine specific knowledge. We'll talk. But, it might be financially painful to live in Mass, and work in Conn, Conn will tax me, same with MASS... pretty messed up huh? Anyway, time to get this thread back on track.. Chase |

When you get back up here Chase, come on out for test and tune at New England Dragway with us. That is the right place to play with NO2 and is almost as fun without it! Oh and I agree with wet system or no system..... |

HAHAHA, I still have yet to figure out how to LAUNCH this thing without hanging over the front of the bike... and to add giggle gas.... I was thinking mostly in a semi controlled environment.. like a dyno room, in fact, it will be tested on a Dyno first.. We spray diesels dry... but, that is a whole other animal... Oh well, money is REALLY tight right now(as with other poeple I am sure), with on top of trying to make sure this cross country move goes smoothly... SO, I dont know how much headway I will make... but... I have the basic plans down... Chase |

Come out to the track and I'll give you a lesson in launching it! Forget the dyno room, as long as you have safeguards in place to insure fuel delivery with the NO2, the track is the place to play. What good is nitrous if you don't get to feel the kick in your pants when you hit the button? (Message edited by scott_in_nh on May 23, 2008) |

I have a two bottle setup on my S1 (have not completed the installation but the bottles look great). It was built by a guy in NH who was a master at NO2 and had a company called Hell Fire. He was a Buell rider himself. He also had a dyno in his garage. I don't think he has the company any more but if you Google Hell Fire and nitrous I think you can pull up his old site, which has pictures of a double bottle setup on an M2. |

Ah, you are talking about Craig... Yep, its his Dyno I plan to give do the trail runs on... Craig is a great guy, and between him and I, we can knock this out pretty easily... PLUS, gonna play with the ECM Spy on the Dyno, as he hast worked with it yet, but, does do the MegaSquirt.... Scott, I guess we'll just have to see how my time, and money pan out, especially with the whole looking for work thing about to get REALLY geared up here soon... Chase |

If you try to launch your rocket with the giggle gas on you'll be in deep trouble with hook-up issues or a view of the heavens for sure, It has to be staged for upper rpm band activation, and say third or fourth gear at the 300 foot mark, no? |

I would say thats about right.... I am NOT a motorcycle drag racer, I will do it with cars and trucks all day, and maybe with the sporty, but, the Buell just has TOO short of a wheelbase... I dont know like I said, I havent figured out how to LAUNCH this thing... as it is, I either short shift into second, then wind the snot out of it, or try to hit it... and not see pavement..... The Sporty, THAT launches great... pulls the front wheel about 6-8 inches, and stays there.... Chase |

Tom, yes, he still does have it, though, I think he may be getting ready to sell it... Tim, my chic says your bike looks like a Praying Mantis, getting ready to pounce... Or, could be all the whiskey we are drinking... Like the trimmed fairing though... Chase |

lol i never thought id hear the wet vs dry debate on a buell bbs... anyway ive been running a 25 dry shot on my x1 for about a year now... no problems yet. http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog/products.asp? group=28&model=104&dept=11 thats what ive been using for my nozzle and it works pretty damn good on my FI bike. |
