Buell Bonn and Ilmberger builded a nice racebike what had the rollout last weekend in the german Sound of Thunder. Julius Ilmberger finished fifth in both races. http://www.hillbilly-motors.com/html/buell_1125r_ilmberger.html

just an opinion : racing teams are gradually leaving their v-twin harley based race-xbs and starts racing the new , more performant , 1125. for sure they are interested in results and not in romanticisms....i really don't like the idea that h.d. based racing Buells are going to be replaced ... bye Alessio |

Yes there comes a complete line of carbonparts, these you see are the prototypes. Alessio, there will be always people who race aircooled Buells. For fun or in special classes like Thunder BEARS or classic Superbike. But racing is progress (-: |

Really nice looking bike Good work on the two fifth places! Hmmm, I think I'm starting to get used to the 1125r's looks, that looks great. |

Sweet. Great looking bike. Some nice chassis component$ on there. Amazing how much better the lower fairing makes it look IMO. I agree that the aircooled Buells will continue racing in their respective classes for some time. (Message edited by Rick_A on May 17, 2008) |
