I'm staying there.. of course.. Made reservations a while ago at 'The Lodge' for the night prior. Depending on what else is on their calander, there may still be some rooms left.. Nothing in the 'room service' / night time extras category but it's right there and the rooms are nice.. you can sleep a little later and still make it to the event on time.. Heck, South course is what, 1/2 a mile to the paddock from The Lodge, maybe 3/4 mile from the 'Hospitality rooms' .. So it's a possible option.. The Sleep Inn Danville (near the airport) is also a nice place to stay, and there's food right next door.. and it's only a couple of miles from the track. | ||

i currently have a reservation at the holiday inn express in Danville for $89 total. they wont let me refund it but they said i can transfer it to someone else. does ANYONE need a room!!!!! | ||

I'll be there Sunday evening, staying at the Lodge on the grounds. I'm not bringing my Buell as I need to shakedown the HP2 for a tarmac Rallymoto race the following weekend. Hey Xb12s_Street.. You're giving up your room? Did you find another closer (like the Lodge?) or are you not going to make the event? Just curious because (IIRC) there were folks that wanted to go but they had sold out. Last year we had a LOT of no shows at VIR and this year we're on the South which is a smaller paddock so I'm thinking a smaller allotment of spaces for riders.. | ||
