As nice as the Buell Backpack/luggage set up is, it does me no good they way they set it up. I'm looking for something that hangs off the back of the rest, still allowing a passenger to ride with me. I've seen a lot on the internet, but most seem way too big, or need the luggage rack below to hold it in place. Anyone here find anything that would work for this situation? I basically want one for shoes and a rain suit or the like. I'm pitting for James Gang Racing in the upcoming Moto-ST race at Road America. I live close enough to commute for the weekend. I want to bring shoes for the pits, as boots won't be too comfortable. Shorts to wear when we aren't racing as pants are needed to go over the pit wall. So something medium size. I DO NOT like to wear backpacks when I ride. Thanks. |

get one of the fehling racks from twisted throttle, and then the back back can sit behind the tail and you can still have a passenger http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/3 745/474/ |

I stopped by the 'local' Samsonite outlet store and picked up a piece of carry on luggage (with the slot to permit stacking) and with the Triple Tail forward, works pretty well. Could probably work with it in the vertical position too but might require some cinching. I think it was stickered at $150 but on the clearance aisle for $25. I've had a laptop bag from the same model line for a number of years now and can attest to its ability to suffer abuse...albeit travel and not road rash! BTW I think Orangeulius (sp?) has a pretty neat T-bag setup.... (Message edited by sekalilgai on May 27, 2008) |

Google T Bags EZ T and you'll find my bag. Ken, yours is wider and not as tall which I think is less obtrusive. The T Bag can be found for under 100. It has a built in rain cover and can also be used as a backpack with the hidden straps. Dang that took forever to type with my PS3 controller. Whew! |

I have the Bags Connection Tail Bag - no pics on this computer of it on the Uly- but it is great as far as I am concerned, fits perfect, expands, and looks like it was made for the Uly http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/9 21/340/ |

I have a pelican 1400 mounted to my triple tail. It's the perfect size for me. |

I have the Buell bag, just mount it backwards when carrying a passenger. it'll work just fine, Buell's lawyer's recommendations not withstanding. |

I have this monster that I couldn't use on my Road King because the back rest was too wide: Available cheap - shipping's a killer. http://s210.photobucket.com/albums/bb108/itileman/ ?action=view¤t=other2-9.jpg Also have an old Willie & Max sissy bar bag that is the most useful of all I've ever owned. Got it off ebay for $19.00 http://s210.photobucket.com/albums/bb108/itileman/ ?action=view¤t=2007-04-0200-05-30_0004-1.jpg It will hold a couple of days worth of clothing, shoes, jacket and a 6-pack of bottles. That's it on the back of my Low Rider last year. The bag in front is actually an Ozark Trails cooler that I'll be mounting on a plate to the triple tail - makes an ideal tour pack ($30.00 at Wallymart). http://s210.photobucket.com/albums/bb108/itileman/ ?action=view¤t=other2-2.jpg |
