Ok, I downloaded a manual, I don't have an owners manual... I'm mechanically inclined, but I'm so lost on a Buell oil change... I see the clutch side oil drain, which is for the transmission? Where does that fill from? I see the oil dip stick in the swingarm, but where is the regular oil drain? Can someone give me some ideas on where to start? Clues would be a great help. Thanks! |

There should be an owner's manual for the XB12R available to read on the Buell site. https://www.buell.com/en_us/owners/manuals/manuals 07.asp You can register on the site for the Owner's section that has manuals and more available. I use Formula + for the primary (clutch and transmission), and a good 20W50 synthetic oil for the engine. I use Harley oil filters. Be sure to drain the oil after the engine is throughly warmed up. Best wishes, Jim |
