Can anyone confirm, categorically, that disconnecting the cable from the quadrant will cause no harm to the motor and that it's only fitted for noise control. The reason I'm asking is that mine has got an intermittent fault and replacement solenoids, according to dealers I've 'phoned, are not available in the UK yet. Thanks |

If you disconnect it electrically, you'll throw a DTC(error code), my ODIS showed P----, no numbers, just dashes. The Electrical Manual says the solenoid has 3 associated DTCs - signal high, signal low and no feeback. Disconnecting the cable to the throttle should be fairly harmless, tuck the unused part out of the way with tape or a zip-tie. I suspect at some point, that will throw the "no feedback" DTC. Z |

OK, grabbed my Manual - When I disconnected it, seems like it should have been the P1110 but the dash said "ACT INT SYS ERR P----" P1110 - short low/open P1111 - short high P1112 - sensor feedback failure Zack |
