First... Thank You for checking this post.
2003 Blast 4700 miles
The front engine isolator mount bolt has snapped for the third time (left rider-side).
I have extracted twice and both times torqued to spec in manual using Harley Dealer new bolt and washer.

Any and I do mean ANY suggestions as to what other problems to look for that can be causing this, and how find them?

My procedure has been as follows:

1. remove front fender, remove horn (for direct view into the mount bracket's empty hole)
2. remove tank and cover
3. ratchet strap engine to frame above to support and aid in aligning bracket hole and snapped bolt
4. ratchet strap left rider-side mount to low point on engine to again align
5. center punch snapped bolt
6. drill
7. extract
8. apply red thread locker to new bolt
9. replace and torque
10. steps 1-4 in reverse

Please keep in mind:
I do not have a lot of money to invest into diagnosing this problem and many shops do not take this bike seriously.
I do have access to most hand tools and some bench tools
I am working on the bike on a NYC sidewalk
I am not a stunt man, but I do love turning the throttle and Blast-ing off.
And it beats taking the subway.

Please help asap this is my only vehicle.
Ideas? Anyone?
Thanks All for input

Have you been replacing the actual rubber isolator each time? If the rubber has failed, or is failing after you replace it each time, that is your cause.

If you torque the rubber isolator wrong, the rubber will twist and can then fail almost immediatly.

Also, make sure the bracket that the bolts hold to the engine is ok. Mine was cracked.
