I wonder if posilocks with dilectric silicon inject in them and wrapped up tight with some kind of tape,radio shack sells coax seal its a non harding tape that lasts for years even in direct sunlight |

I'm not sure where they came from as I just had two of them lying around. If you can't find them in the local hardware store then try one of the electrical supply houses like "Riverside Lighting" in Santa Cruz. I know they will have them.

Not sure if this would make the job easier - but it would make it cost more.
Polaris connectors are an alternative to split bolts. I have no experience with these.
The grey ones are not in line.

Just did this mod. Thank you to Doncasto and all for the inspiration and great instructions. I'm hopeful my stalling and gremlins will be a thing of the past. Only miles will tell. Will report back when I get some miles on it. Pretty quick with the instructions==45 minutes to an hour maybe== and a much more solid connection |
