To Those interested I just dropped my new 1125r off at Pit Bull in huntsville alabama. They are using my bike for research and developement in exchange for parts. they already have a front stand made. They are working on a rear stand, and , and, aaaaaaaaaaaand, possibly a steering stabilizer. Among other things They also are working on a trailor restraint system for it. My bike will be back monday or tuesday. Then I will take it back later for fitment. Finally someone that would step and design something for our bikes. |

I will wait for T-Rex to make some and buy them on eBay. Yes, I am kidding. I love my Pit Bull. |

That's great... I was just trying to figure out which Pit Bull rear stand would work with my DarkHorseMoto 1125R Sliders... I guess there isn't one yet. Any ETA on this? Thanks! |

I modified The pit bull trailer restraint to fit the XB. All it took was a drill bit and a Craftsman 1/2 inch drive 15MM deep well socket. Piece of cake should take less that 20 mins to do. (There are other ways, but I didn’t feel like driving to work to use the lathe, and this mod can be done with average garage tools which is better for the masses.) The system works extremely well for all the other bikes they make it for..... dont know why they haven’t made a kit for the Buells and couldn’t wait so I made my own. If the overall length of the axle is the same for the 1125R as the XBs, then the modification will work 1125Rs. I havent checked the width. I would highly recommend this system. I towed a trailer from NJ to NC carrying 10 bikes all restrained with these Bit Bull units without using a single tie down strap and didn’t get so much as a wiggle from any of the bikes. 10 bikes, Zero straps. Definitely a great piece of kit. Also it takes about 30 seconds to secure a bike. Ill take some pics tonight and get in to more detail. This is the original kit. Only one retaining pin actually gets modified, the rest of the system is untouched. I would guess that Pit bull will make a Buell specific kit eventually, but this will work for those who cant wait for that. http://www.pit-bull.com/trailer-restraint-types.sh tml Seth |
