Hi guys, my clutch has started biting right at the end of lever travel(after 400 miles) anybody else had this? Is it adjustable? Also rear brake has been crap since purchase, are they all the same? |

You have to get used to the hydraulic clutch, it won't take long. Definitely different than a cable clutch. Try changing the engagement on the lever adjuster, that's all the adjustment you get. The brakes have to be "bedded in" http://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php?showtopic =18175&mode=threaded&pid=222402 I did mine on a rear axle stand. Got her up to around 50 mph and dragged the brake a while, then let it cool and did it again. Let it cool down, off the stand and out for a ride... wow! brakes! Zack |

Info: My clutch bites 'high', too. The rear brake is starting to come around and have some authority after about 500 miles of 'normal' driving. |

The rear brake on mine isnt the strongest, but its strong enough to be effective as an anti-loop device! |

If you want to change that a little try adjusting the travel/ reach. You really need to "bed in" the rear brake. Mine will kinda easily lock the back wheel if I want. Neil S. |
