Bad idea to deviate from the OEM specs. Changes steering geometry for one thing...

A little of topic from the front, do ya'll think it would be a bad idea to go with a 190 in the rear?

Typically, a 190 will allow more power to be put down to the ground, but you lose some handling.

I like the 180 on my 1125r--with 135 linear RWHP, I think it is just right. I don't like giving up handling in any circumstances, plus it is the tire that Buell designed the bike around.

My 2 cents.

The rim isnt wide enough for a 190. I believe you need a six inch rim. Also there is the exhaust to consider. It is very close to the tire.

Personally I like having a 190 on my S-1,5.5 inch rim, more stable in the corners.I've got 180 on my track day wheels and it's more twitchy in triple digit sweepers. On the "25r" though I think it might get a little sluggish plus the Bige mention of the exhaust clearance issue. I love the way the "25r" handles as is.

With the D&D I won't have that problem
