So what do you suppose the max usable street horsepower is that a 1200 Buell motor is capable of turning out, here the word usable is important, 1/4 mile's all well and good, but I'd rather do the Dragon, or run the local twistys and not lowside at every overtwist on the curves. |

After dreaming and studying and planning for my own eventual engine build I'd say that a good range to shoot for would be 100-110rwhp. You can make more than that, but over that point it starts getting harder, more expensive and, personally I think, it gets harder on the motor. Take that with a grain of salt, though, cause both my bikes have only bolt-on performance mods. |
