I went to clean my XB12s today, took off the seat and noticed the front row of staples, holding the covering to the plastic seat structure, has come undone. Has anyone else had this happen? The bike has only been off the showroom floor for about a month now. I called to find out if it's covered under warranty, but have to wait till Monday to talk to the warranty handler. This should be covered under warranty, right? |

Sounds like you got what you need, but yeah, it should be covered. Same thing happened to my Firebolt seat, but I found out as I was swapping it out for the Corbin, so it didn't matter much to me. |

I just had my 07 12R seat replaced via warranty for the same thing. Glad you got it taken care of though. |

My Firebolt seat did that as well. I refitted the front of the seat cover and used my own staple gun to re-staple the cover to the base, I have not had a problem since. I did notice at the time I did this that my staples were slightly longer than what was originally used. |
