can i use a sportster primary chain auto tentioner on my xb or does someone make one specifically for the xb?

When it goes "clunk" into 2nd gear, I automatically adjust it...

I know, I know, I'm no help at all...
I've not heard of such a thing to be honest...

I think Lothodon is referring to the M6 chain tensioner. Numerous comments on the site here about them. Some like them, some have had problems with the side plates wearing and the moving plate getting hung up in the sideplate grooves causing the functionality to go away. There might have been some other issues with them, but that may have been relative to how the users rode and how the M6 interracted with their riding style.

I do not have one and most likely won't get one. But then I don't have an XB either so I'll just bow out at this point. ;)
