Great Video Doerman: Thanks. Is that the "Agneles Crest" highway, or Glendora Mountain Road?
Yea, I did 370 miles through the back roads last weekend.
Yesterday I did 408 miles through the twisty sections of route 33 in West "by God" Virginia. It was so much fun I could "bearly" get off to have lunch! If I hadn't hit rain I don't thing I would have headed for home. What a great bike.
You need to crank up the wick a little bit! Looks like a leisurely bike ride to me. Sloooooooooow! If you went any slower I'm afraid you might tip over
Scott, The other piece of Halford music I was considering for this snippet was "Wheels of Fire" also quite fitting. The roads are quite clean now. If we get high winds or rain, then there;s gravel and rocks for a while. But nature (or CalTrans) takes good care of things.
Jeff, Dang, well, I'll try to do better next time!
Bearly Yes, West by God Virginia is a great place to ride. When I lived in Cincinnati, then West (BG) Virginia was a destination. 33 to Seneca Rock was one of my favorites. The video is from Glendora Mountain road. I call it "Fun in my back yard" because I live 5 minutes away from the entrance to that road.
My wife is the true Halford fan. So much so that she did an artpiece in the Metal God's honor.
The guy on the bicycle was over the yellow and when he saw me coming he did some quick corrections. Theres all kinds of traffic on this road. I passed a guy on a skateboard once. Now there's a prime example of being out of control.
