I just installed the new D&D exhaust for the 1125R, and the pipe is amazing. * 13 pound weight savings * Few HP increase * Visually improves the motorycle * The sound rivals the HD Destroyer I don't miss the stock exhaust.

My God it's that loud! The first time I herd a Destroyer at the drags I asked a friend of mine who works for a dealer. What was the design intention behind the exhaust power or noise? His answer was YES. Those things are the noisyist Gas burning Harleys out there. If the D&D is even close the thing must be deafening. |

Dont bounce it off the rev limiter when you're rolling with your buddies, it will piss them off. No one will ride to the right of me now |

Looks pretty good in that pic. They really need to make it in black, though. Or have an option for black. I really liked the D&D I had on my XB. |

First post on BadWeB is much like an advertisement for D&D. Big grain of salt is warranted. Posting Superflow dyno results is not a good idea. Dynojet is the standard, and the disparity is highly uncomplementary. |

D&D is known for "sound as big as Texas". It is no surprise that it is LOUD. |

122 HP? I thought the 1125 was in the 140 HP range? Is that the at the crank vs rear wheel difference? (Message edited by DynaSport on April 13, 2008) |

what did you use to paint the pipe? I painted the tip with high temp paint and it already came off. |

Dynasport. part of the difference you are seeing is what Blake was commenting about. The difference between Superflow and DynaJet Dyno's |

Has anyone had any problems with the police with their D&D exhaust? |

Also a concern for me as I love the soundclip of the d&d but I am worried about riding across country with it. |

The 1125r I Rode at American Buell in Ann Arbor has the D&D exhaust on it...when I first heard it, it sounded like the world was going to end, but that was in the service garage. Then I got used to it once the bike was outside. It is a beautiful sound and rings just a bit lower than ducati's. The perfect tone in your ear when you are riding with a full face on. And its not bad at all riding next to it. Also, in the images ive seen online it appears to stick out past the swingarm very far, this is not the case in person.. 2.5 inches at most |

If it's as loud as the D&D that was on my Gixxer 600 when I bought it, then it's WAY too loud. I like a good sounding bike, but the D&D on my 600 sounded like a chainsaw. It was awful. I sold it and put on a Leo Vince...much better! Might sound OK on a twin, but little 600 buzz bombs don't need to be heard. Just a horrible ugly sound. |

Does anybody know if the muffler is straight through from the back end so a baffle could be inserted? This just might make it quieter and add a little back pressure to be more in line with the stocker for H.P. throughout the rpm range. I added a "www.carchemistry.com" insert to my straight through 2 1/2" muffler on my M2 and am really pleased with its performance throughout the rpm range. However I do like the stock 1125R system. |
