...as my good luck would have it after just posting about a slipper clutch thread prior to this one...

My clutch slave cylinder has been leaking through the tiny vent hole in the clutch cover for the last three weeks and with just 2000 miles on the clocks...will drain the master in three days now...along with discoloring the paint on the cover and now the exhaust can.

I am an unafilliated wrench and know better than to void the warranty prematurely by playing with it myself (also still no full manual in hands yet) so I called a west central florida hd/buell dealer (Very Polite And Knowledgable) and have an appointment with a buell tech that will order the needed parts upon inspection...and schedule a ONE day thrash to handle this along with a couple of other minor issues.

I travel between florida and ohio monthly. This is my only mode of trans in florida so I cannot be without it for even a couple of days. THIS IS WHY I PURCHASED NEW AND NOT USED TO BEGIN WITH TWO MONTHS AGO.

I hope to report a positive soon regarding this experience.

Relax Sly, it may be new but it's very RevA.
Good luck, I'll cross fingers.

...will follow up after the fact.

I OFFICIALLY FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT FOR BEING WRONG ON THIS ONE AND MY OPOLOGIES TO ALL HERE.

What I assumed was the service manual was a parts manual with printed out service papers off hd net stuffed into the binder. When I asked if this was available for sale the tech said of coarse, you just have to order one as they do not keep them in stock...I found this out after trying to order that service manual today and really looking like an idiot...similar to the way I feel right now.

Again, I am sorry...feed me to the sharks...I'm going back to my little fishbowl now and keep my trap shut.

Ah and YES, a POSITIVE REPORT.

Fixed and no charge...an absolute pleasure tonight riding from Tampa to Clearwater Beach, Florida at sunset AFTER being on a jet for six hours!

They even had her waiting with a guard and after hours!...service like this is a rarity today! Thank you all!

Slave cyl was apparently leaking and The Main Man at HD of Tampa made sure it was all done by the Buell book!

He followed up many times (phoned me, not me him!) over my 11's stay and even bathed her before I picked her up.

I am most : )!

Thank you very much BUELL/HD (?!) of Tampa, Florida! : )

EXCELLENT BUELL TECH/REP! Thank you for your dedication to customer satisfaction and your obvious knowledge and experience on the Buell product line!

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE BY ALL ELSE! Always a pleasant call or in person experience!

After Hours Guard MAN was A PLEASURE! VERY polite and VERY diplomatic in verifying who I was before he let my bike out of his control, TRUE pro & SUPER nice guy to chat with! Thank YOU!

A+++++ & Highly Recommend...HARLEY DAVIDSON OF TAMPA : )

Thank you all again,

Montgomery Markel-custom design, fabrication, mechanics...AND HAPPY BUELL 1125 OWNER!

That's great news. Thanks for taking time to share the resolution and great report of a good Buell dealership.

Where is the clutch slave? I noticed a wrinkling warning sticker on the swing arm under the belt but when i checked it out it was heavy film of oil could this be the same leak?

The clutch slave cyl is just inside the clutch cover on the rh side...see bleeder valve?

...same leak? I don't think so as you'd have brake fluid on the rh side pipe, not the left. Dig deeper on that one.

any ideas? I wasn't able to find any other oil and once I wiped it off it hasn't accumulated since. Oh did I mention that this bike rocks. Far cry from my old Norton's I can't seem to get off this thing and not be in an insanely good mood I had the battery die once but that was my fault playing with the alarm with out it running. Other than that I'm grinning ear to ear
