That. Is. AWESOME. He's almost sitting on the pavement! ...now ask him to do it again, but with a trailer attached to that hitch. (Message edited by darthane on April 08, 2008) |

Dudes! That is a staged photo! Either that or he is moving about 0.001 MPH. Look at the flag. Jack |

Doesn't even seem to be leaned over that far, lol. I woudln't suspect it's staged though, I've seen plenty of guys draggin' knees on 'wings. |

Not sayin' it's staged, not sayin' it's real. But what I am sayin' is that the direction of the flag can't be ignored. Either he's going very slow or it is very windy. (Message edited by his_and_her_buells on April 08, 2008) |

I didn't know a helmet and leathers were required to ride a greased pig. BTW his face shield is up. |

If you guys want to see some real Gold Wing action, there is a group of guys that go through Deals Gap on them and man can they ride. I think one of their videos was called "Wingin' the Dragon." I'll see if I can find a link. Edit: Link found http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nrMQ3QwyPo (Message edited by carparts009 on April 08, 2008) |

Link worked for me, and it was definitely impressive. Wish I had half the skill that guy has. Maybe in 30 years when I'm ready for a Goldwing... |

The guy on the yellow wing was good. The guy following him, doing the filming, wasn't to dusty either! Did hear the pegs or floor boards scrapping on ever turn? Awesome. |

Some of those GoldWing guys are jerks. Some idiot on a newish Wing barged through our group when we were stuck behind a car during this years MB. Good thing that moron didn't turn off with us, cause he was going to get a facefull of Buell on the next corner. Still can't believe it. Probably the only real jerk I've bumped into out there. |

Cool video! Reminded me of my first time at Americade. I was test riding an FJ1200, following the Yamaha factory rider on a Venture... I couldn't keep up in the turns, even dragged my toe a couple times. Granted it was my first time on an FJ, and that guy had probably run that route 100 times... but still, just goes to show what comes from experience. A GOOD rider on a barge beats a bad rider on anything! (Message edited by jettdawg on April 10, 2008) |
