Its a scam! That ad is posted in the Augusta, GA craigslist. I got an email back from them that sounded like another Nigerian ripoff. |

Random text to fool the spam filters, copied from some publication of some sort or randomly generated, or some hide in plain sight code as in: Op#1: Fred, check out the Suzuki ad in the Augusta Craigslist, search on Custom. Op#2: Got it Ned. Op#2: Ned, check out the Schwinn ad in the Seattle Craigslist. Op#1: Got it Fred. Op#1 to group mtg: We're good to go, the Fiji shipment will be dropped off in Tampa Bay on Thursday morning, will get routed through the Desoto warehouse, then will be delivered for disbursement in our Butler County facility by Saturday morning. Sometimes there is more to SPAM than what's listed in the ingredients. You just never know.

It's amazing that people fall for this stuff. There was recently an ad in Craig's List showing a house for rent that one of my employees went to look at and loved. The next day he showed me the pictures as well as the e-mail he had received from the "owner" explaining why they were renting such a nice house so cheaply. I immediately went to the Orange County, FL Tax Collector's web site to enter the address in hopes of confirming that person actually owned the home. Guess what? Not even close. My employee called the actual owner in NY and found out that they had already been alerted to the scam and communicated that one person had already called them to complain that they'd sent money to this scammer and were pissed (it wasn't their fault). My employee strung them along for a while and even called the Orange County Sheriff's office and the real estate agent whose name they were using to alert them to the prospects of catching this individual until the dreaded address came to send the money to. It was in Nigeria and to think someone had actually sent money was beyond me. I guess if people get it to work once it was worth it as they will never get caught. |

He's doing the same thing on Ebay. If you contact him he will take your info from you and use it to his advantage for a different listing. Beware. |
