Yeah, that was on CNN last week...pretty damned cool, if you ask me, but I've gotta wonder if it can paint anything else. ...like, is it able to do that because it was taught to paint that one specific picture, or does it recognize and is able to recreate things that it sees? If the latter is true, I'd DEFINITELY have to agree with Wolf. LOL |

That's too much... Some species (Elephants, Whales and Dolphins, Primates, etc. should definatly be afforded basic human rights. Then again, a lot of people don't have basic human rights, so wtf. Why'd you have to post that and draw my attention to these issues so early in the morning?!

I looked it up on snopes.com Supposedly it's true, elephants can be taught to to replicate paintings. Only a handful in the world have been taught to do it. The elephant isn't painting an "original" picture from it's imagination but still it's pretty amazing. |
