I have an oil leak, it seems to be coming from behind the oil fill/dipstick on the right hand side. There is enough oil to drip onto the pipe. At first I thought it was a loose dipstick, so I cleaned it up. but the oil re-appeared. I also tightened the bango bolt on the line right behind the dipstick. On further inspection, it looks to be comming from farther back and up behind the line(behind the rear cylinder). Anyone know what is tucked up back there? Oil tank? I am NOT going to take it to the dealer if I can help it... |

Does it look like this?
A friend of mine did an Inside Pass track day and one of the bikes has this leak. Don't know what the root of the cause was. Just remembered the location sounding like yours. |
