I have someone asking me to modify they're headlamps to burn at the same time. I know that the reflectors are low on rt and high on lft. Can you replace the reflectors and use a dual filament bulb? |

The one on the bad web is swapping a couple of wires and then they are on all the time. The high beam never goes off. Some try and set the rocker in the center which keeps both lights on and can shut off the high beam. I have a printed copy of the wiring conversion which is what Im going to do. |

Dave, I did the mod by just switching the wires PM me your email - I sent a picture with abbreviated directions to Tom a couple of weeks ago. I know he just did the mod. The only difficult part is getting the Bullet connectors out without stripping the wire. |

Unless you have the right tool it is hard to get the pins out of the molex without damaging them. I cut the tape back far enough to put bullet connectors on each wire so if I ever needed to it is an easy switch back to the lame one headlight. |

The problem is related to Highway regs as to the high beam reflector. I can hook up the wires to burn both. It would be great to find something like Speed Triple lamps to install and be legal. Has anyone disassembled the light housing to replace reflectors? |

Have not heard of anyone doing that - DOT regs??? what a good law abiding citizen. I bet you never exceed the speed limit on top of it. |

That's just a violation of basic rule. I wasn't speeding. |
