Advance tickets are less 15%, but you have to pay the Worthless markup of 40% (because HD is in high demand don't ya know) so you are paying 25% over list for the honor of buying your ticket at Worth less. |

Ben, Glad your ok man...Also glad you're anxious to get back in the saddle. Lesser men might want to quit motorcycling after something like that p.s. The canoe trip ruled...I haven't seen that much beer consumed in a looooong time, and boobies were fairly plentiful |

Frank, thanks, Yeah I'm really wanting to get back at it. When I say this to most people I get the funny looks. I think I will stay away from any blue ones this time though. Might have to look into black and amber. Keith, we are still planning to take in the races. I really wanted to come down today but my Brother-in-law was in town. I will get a hold of you tomorrow. Well Sam is the King of BattleTrax in Waterloo Iowa. Yes, once again KC Mobs own Shazam raced like a madman to win the 3rd and final BattleTrax of the year yesterday. Thanks Sam for coming to all 3 of our BattleTrax events and waving the Buell flag high and proud! You ROCK! I'd love to see more of the KC and Slab guys again next year for another 3 BattleTrax events here in Waterloo. Now the bad news for you Sam, lucky for you, we don't let employees be in the competition. Doug ended up the day over a full second quicker than your best lap, sorry dude! |

I was riding home from work, it was my wife's birthday and I was suppose to take her out to Harrah's for dinner (yep I am in so much deep doodoo over this) Anyway out north Coventry Rd runs from 68th St to Barry Rd, nice little rural setting, good slow putt, they recently repaved and I hit some oil cooked up out of the fresh asphalt as I was going into a turn at about 20mph, down and sliding like a hockey puck before I really knew I was down. I had on my work uniform BDU pants and a security T shirt. Steel Toed boots, gloves and helmet kept it from being worse, but I bruised my right knee real bad, had to go to the ER in an ambulance, rash on right arm is healing nicely, tweaked right shoulder is pretty stiff and sore. Knee swelling has caused me another problem at a previous injury site, developed cellulitis down in my ankle and spent this last weekend in NKC hospital soaking IV antibiotics. No bad bike damage, those ABS plastic airbox covers are pretty tough. So as soon as I can get healed up, I will be back out riding, knee does not hurt too bad, but is too stiff to bend it far enough to get my foot on the peg, I tried this morning, no go. I will probably have to go get some fluid drained out of it with a big needle. WEAR THAT SAFETY GEAR GUYS IT REALLY IS BETTER TO SWEAT THAN SCAB! |

Frank, If you noticed, we finally got this thing running!!!!! Thanks for all the "I don't know without seing it exactly but have you looked or tried this???" Keith p.s. She is definately a Harley, leaves her mark everywhere she goes!! p.s.s You sure that you and Sam are not coming in for the flattrack races? "Sonny Barger, One of the most controversial and colorful Hells Angels members will make a book-signing stop in Quincy Saturday, and the Illinois Hells Angels chapter is planning a party that night." Quincy Herald Whig. We all know how much you two like to hang out with these guys!! Hell maybe you can find out where they are camping again! "> p.s.s. Rusty, sorry to hear about your spill, glad to hear that you are doing better. edited by gravedigger on August 20, 2003 |

Damn Rusty sorry to hear that! Sounds like your ok! Hope you heal up quick! I will probably not make it to bike night tonight. It is just too damned hot to be enjoyable. I am just not into it. Unless it does some serious cooling off or unless I just get bored and say screw it I think I am staying home. Sorry guys.. |
