My ex was much better at spending than making, so a bike was always out of my budget. But now that we're split I'm in the market in a serious way. I've got a couple of bikes I'm looking at, none of which are closer than three hours. One would be a mixed visit family/pick up bike 10hr drive kind of trip. Before I make a drive like this I'd like to at least sit on an X1 to make sure that it's sized well for me (I'm 6'4 225lb). I'm in Enfield, CT and if anyone would be nice enough to let me sit on their baby for a few minutes it would be greatly appreciated. |

Iam 6-1 and two-fiddy and my X1 fits me well. I live in Ohio and if you come around you can do a test ride. |

Thanks to both. @Damnut : RI is a bit farther than I'd like to drive for a test fit, but maybe I can drop you a PM next time I head to the casino. @Wile, that's good to know and thanks very much for the offer. |

Go to TSI in Ellington. They probably have a tube frame for you to test ride. If not go to Gengras. The only way you will know if the bike is right for you is to test ride one. Just sitting on one really doesn't let you feel the balance and weight of the bike. I would let you try mine but it's pulled apart for maint and mods |
