I have noticed that in 80 degree weather, the bike gets too hot and it gets to the point of being uncomfortable to ride it. Also there is a lot of heat escaping from the vent right behind your left leg, coming from the exhaust tubing inside the bike. Do you guys think that ceramic coating would be beneficial or it would be of very little help? Here in El Paso, TX you get very high temperatures during summer (100+) and would hate to overheat it. Plus I can imagine the smell of roasting skin after a light stop! Found this link and called them. They say they charge 15dlls per ft. of tubing to ceramic coat the exhaust. Check it out. It might be a good solution. http://www.engineceramics.com/fullservice.htm |
