i would imagine they're the same as the other XB12's...thanks Probably somewhat slower I'd imagine. The Uly keeps wanting lift off. Stupid bike doesn't know it can't fly. |

Can't fly? Nobody ever told my Uly that! I lost count how many times both wheels came off the ground. ![: )](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/happy.gif) |

It's heavier and has slightly more wind resistance. I'd say it's a little slower than a 12. |

I made about 6 passes on Joules at Bandimere, CO on a bone stock Uly last fall..... but at 5,000 feet, expect about 25% loss of horsepower due to thin air. I'll have to dig up my time slips. Also, jammer weighs about 225lbs plus gear and am 6'4". Keeping the front tire down was problematic, taller windscreen kept bopping my helmet. I'm in the far lane.

It's heavier and has slightly more wind resistance. But it's got a longer wheelbase, so it should launch better. Of course it does have a wheelie monster reputation, so perhaps it doesn't. |

My best 1/4 mile ET at Pacific Raceways after about 6 runs last year on my '06 was 12.94 @ 108?mph. VERY difficult to keep front end down at launch. Also, I'm no pro....... |

But it's got a longer wheelbase, so it should launch better. The problem is that the suspension is longer and softer, so it tends to seesaw more. If you slammed the suspension and made it a low long rigid, I think it would help. I'd bet given same weight, same engine, that the SS would launch better than the ULY. |

Yes it does Ft_bstrd, I haven't figured out how to wheelie it yet! ![: (](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/sad.gif) |

To wheelie, put the bike in first gear. Get rolling up to about 5000rpm. Quickly snap off the throttle followed by a big roll on. The front end will come WAY up....guaranteed. ![: )](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/happy.gif) |

Like Chad said...the wheel comes up quick (at least on the Uly). I can wheelie with that technique at as low as 4000 RPM's, and occasionally it will happen as low as 3500, but I think that has been when fuel is low. Not to bad for 5500' of elevation with the race pipe. |

I got to try 5000. I would pull my Uly up like nothing at 3500, but the SS dosen't want to. |

Mine will come up at 1800 rpm and stay up. I weigh 215 lbs and sit up against the gas tank or air box no clutch.![](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/dogpile.gif) |

Cool Dave! The timing of the High Country Harley on the sign. Did you have anything todo with that? I'm curious on your times at Bandimere. |
