My 1125R now has 1200 miles and it feels stronger every day. It spins the wheel even in 2nd when I roll it down. I have been using it more aggressively and now getting close to the red line and wow. I'm very happy with her.

I have not had any problems with the charging system. Just on time the battery died because I had to crank it for longer than normal because I flooded it when I turned it on and then off right away. The gas smell problem is there but I think is normal on motorcycles. Just let it cool down before storing it in the garage.

I will join this praise session!

1500 miles and I can't stop thinking about it. I just want to ride it all the time. I get upset when I'm home just for a couple of days, and the weather is going to be crappy, just because I can't ride the 11.

I have a corner that I know pretty well. I found myself going about 15 mph faster at the apex than my other Buells (Blast, N/A) and I didn't know it. I look down at the speedo and rolled off the throttle. I was just surprised to see that big number!(and was thinking about incarceration) It just felt so good, so easy and so confident. I could easily do that corner faster yet. What an amazing swing arm, frame, Fork combo with those tires.

Luis, I agree with you. My Serial #142 runs better all the time. It's starts better, and runs smoother. What a machine.

I don't have that many miles yet as I have back issues. But, I have ridden very hard about two weekends ago. And cornering is unbelievable at speed. Here is a link of a vid that a group of guys I rode with two weeks ago with. This vid was a week before I rode with them but, one of same roads. The 1125R just handled these corners beautifully. In fact I think the front tire came off the ground going through a leaning turn. That was crazy and freaked me out. But I kept riding hard. Well here is the link, enjoy.

I'll join in too.

Like Bearly, I can't stop thinking about this bike. I day dream about going around corners and doing power wheelies.

I have had no issues with this bike. Its always on the battery tender when in the garage and it starts flawlessly every time. Gone are the days of cold/rough starts, TPS resets, idle adjustments...this bike handles it all electronically and perfectly.

The suspension feels great and is very confidence inspiring. Every time I ride it I am more aggressive then the last time. It begs to be taken to the track because, quite frankly, I don't think I can/should push it any harder on the street.

At 6'-3", I am a bit tall to be comfortable on a sportbike. However, with the 1" lower pegs, touring seat, and that big fairing I think I could ride this thing all day.

Like others have said, it feels like it is getting stronger with more miles. Can't wait to get over 1000 miles on it so I can switch to synthetic oil. I am completely happy with my purchase with no regrets.

1568 miles on mine now. Awesome bike! I am looking forward to the day I can get it on a track.

At about 600 miles, it was leaking Dot4 clutch fluid. Dealer fixed it for free. Even with this minor problem, I couldn't be happier with this bike!

I found myself unemployed a couple of weeks ago.
Wife isn't happy, I'm in the garage or out riding all day.
She prays for snow.
Loretta has 3002 miles on the Odo.

Dang.. I'm a little down on miles.. but if you look here.. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=37&post=1097616#POST1097616 and you'll be able to read about my first two track dates on the 1125R -

This weekend I'm at Summit Point for more track time.. and then.. well.. This bike is just so much fun and so well heeled (for a monster in rabid badgers clothing ) that I know I'm going to become a master of the track/street/track switch over .. Oh yeah..

Rocketray,

I also had a little DOT 4 fluid weeping from the clutch where it goes in the motor. Surprisingly I put a wrench on the nut and turned it about 1/4 turn (it was a little loose). No more clutch fluid leakage. Other owners may want to check this.
